The Wood Store is both a showroom of our hand-made products and a timber yard of recycled wood

Showroom
Here you'll find a wide range of hand-made original pieces for home and garden. Our speciality is in creating items for you, such as shelving, benches and coffee tables, from recycled wood. Each piece is unique; hand-made from individual timbers each with their own history and personality. It is incredible how old timber - which was once destined for the skip – can be brought back to life and recreated into beautiful and useful items.

Timber yard
We also have a large timber yard which stocks a huge range of DIY and building timbers, sheet materials, doors, floorboards, scaffold boards, various sizes of hardwood off-cuts, and lots more.

Gifts
We have hundreds of small items and interesting pieces which make wonderful and unusual gifts - a solid oak chopping board for the kitchen, a mirror or picture frame made from Brighton Pier hardwood decking, or a planter for the garden filled with living herbs - you choose! Or give us a design and we can make something especially for you. We also have lots of  new and second-hand items which change with the seasons, so come and visit us to find out what's in store!

New finds come in every day - even we don't know what's arriving next - so you'll just have to go along and discover something for yourself! The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming to everyone; whether you need help with a certain purchase, if you would like to volunteer, or even if you just want to find out more about the Project.
