You can make a difference!
Volunteer workers are an essential part of Brighton & Hove Wood Recycling Project and we encourage people from all backgrounds and walks of life to get involved. We offer the opportunity to learn more about recycling and the prevention of waste, and the chance to learn and develop the skills involved in creating useful items out of recycled material.

Volunteers don’t need to have woodworking skills, just an interest in the aims of the Project and the enthusiasm to work in the world of recycling. The work can be physically demanding as it often involves moving heavy timber and working outdoors in all weathers. However, we also welcome volunteers who would like to offer their time and abilities in other areas of the Project’s work, such as retail, PR, accounts, computer and office work.
