We operate a timber collection service throughout Brighton & Hove and the surrounding area. Our teams collect from individual housholders, small building businesses and right up to multinational building companies. We help with your unwanted timber in a number of different ways. If the wood that you have is of a sufficient quantity and quality, we may be able to offer free collection. Some of the recent projects with which we have been involved are;
Falmer/Brighton Aldridge Community Academy
In partnership with Kier South East we collected all of the site waste timber during the construction and demoliton phase of the replacement schoolbuilding at the northern edge of Brighton.
Northfield Residences, Sussex University
Working with Ocon to collect all waste wood from the construction of accommodation for 1,105 students spread over 18 buildings
Royal Alexandra Quarter
We are currently taking all of the waste timber and pallets produced by Taylor Wimpey on the redevelopment of this former childrens' hospital into 119 appartments.
How we work
We offer a unique service. No need for skip hire, and certainly no landfill. Every construction site produces wood waste of all kinds of lengths, shapes and sizes. The problem is that most waste wood on a site just doesn't fit into a skip. The pictures below quite literally speak volumes...
The first two photos show a typical collection area next to a standard 12cuyd skip. The waste timber and pallets here would clearly be much more than one skipfull. After loading into our 12 cuyd caged van, this site was charged for 8cuyd, a massive saving of not only money, but also time as only one collection took place and there was only one movement on site. For one-off collections our team will be happy to assess what you have and give you a quote. If you produce regular amounts of timber waste we can arrange regular collections. Our smallest clients call us every once in a while, our largest site produced four loads a week. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
