MAKE A BIRD BOX


With one of our carpenters you will have fun making a simple bird box.
Suitable for adults and children from ages 6+.

Dates: Sunday 25th March

MAKE A SMALL PLANTER


Spring is around the corner and it’s time to be thinking about what plants to put in the garden. Come along to our 'Make a small planter' workshop and make a planter from reclaimed hoarding from building sites. It’s educational and fun and you get to take the planter home with you to put in your garden.
Suitable for adults and children from ages 6+.

Dates: Saturday 17th March, Saturday 31st March

INTRODUCTION TO POWER TOOLS - PART 1

 

Get to grips with the most commonly used power tools and start those DIY projects you’ve been putting off. This practical workshop is designed to teach you how to use the tools efficiently and safely and will not focus on producing an end product (of that see PART 3). It's a chance for you to spend time in our workshop and get to know the tools in a safe environment and ask all the questions you can think of.

Tools covered: Impact driver, Combo drill, SDS drill, Orbital and Belt sanders.

Duration: 2.5 hours
Cost: £40

Learn how to use basic cutting power tools for every day jobs around the home. Slightly more advanced than PART 1. 

 

Tools covered: Jigsaw, Circular saw, Chop saw, Planer and Biscuit joiner.

MAKE A SIDE TABLE

 

It’s time to bring your power tools knowledge together and make something to take home. On this workshop you will build a side table, with a pallet slat top.

MAKE A 1 x 2 FT PLANTER

Come along to our planters for adults workshop and make a 1x2ft planter from reclaimed scaffold boards. It’s educational and fun and you get to take the planter home with you to put in your garden.  Suitable for ages 16+ due to use of power tools.

MAKE TWO SMALL SQUARE PLANTERS

 

Spring is around the corner and it’s time to be thinking about what plants to put in the garden. Come along to our planters for adults workshop and make two small square planters from reclaimed scaffold boards. It’s educational and fun and you get to take the planters home with you to put in your garden.  Suitable for ages 16+ due to use of power tools.

MAKE A SCAFFOLD BOARD STOOL

 

Come and make your own reclaimed scaffold board stool to take home with you. You will spend two hours cutting, sanding and constructing the stool using a variety of hand and power tools. After, you will enjoy the satisfaction of taking a rest on a stool you have yourself constructed!
